Yesterday I tweaked my left knee assisting my son's indoor football team as a receiver for the scout team. Obviously, this bodes fantastically for my already
shaky confidence going into tomorrow morning's
Frederick half marathon. My knee doesn't really hurt but it is a little stiff. I'm hopeful that if it isn't perfect tomorrow it'll loosen up during the run. Of course, that'll probably happen as soon as I start getting affected by
my minor ab strain, which only bothers me now after a run, although I haven't run for more than 30-35 minutes at a time this week. So we'll see.

Let's get ready to stumble rumble!
At any rate, the organizers of the
Frederick Running Festival are extending a "feature" they started with the
Baltimore 10 Miler: waiting until AFTER the race to distribute race premiums. So if I want it I gotta run it. On the other hand, if I didn't run it I wouldn't want it.
Anyway, I'll see ya on start line. I'll be the guy who just can't wait to start. [/sarcasm]
Good luck on your 1/2, hopefully you get within your goal time. And just to be crazy optimistic, maybe you'll win this thing!
